For this new build job all areas of floor install we laid with a 12×12 tiles in a straight lay pattern. The shower surround and jacuzzi surround are set in the same pattern but have an insert of 3×12 subway tile. These areas were all set using a VersaBond Mortar. The kitchen backsplash is a mosaic tile set using ReliaBond Tile Adhesive. The flooring areas and kitchen backsplash were grouted using a high performance, stain resistant Prism Grout, whereas the shower and tub were grouted using a specialty Mapei FlexColor Grout.
