This is a new build in Beaumont. From this series of photos it’s easy to our step by step process in constructing a shower. We arrive to a bare area and begin by waterproofing the walls with Schluter Kerdi Membrane. We cover the walls with the Kerdi Membrane, construct a shower curb, and install the drain kit. After the Kerdi Membrane is on, we begin installation of the 12×12 wall tile. This builder had us install it in a straight lay pattern. Both the Kerdi Membrane and the tile were set using Premium Plus Mortar. When the shower was complete we began installation of the jacuzzi tub deck and skirt, and the bathroom floor. These areas of install were done in the same fashion as the shower, the only difference being that it was set using VersaBond Mortar. After a couple days once the mortar ad set we went back to complete the job using a high performance, stain resistant Prism Grout.
