For this job we began by preparing the area with a waterproofing Schluter Kerdi Membrane. When that was completed we were able to start the installation of the tile. To begin we set the 12×24 bathrom floor tile. Then, the back wall and tub deck and skirt were set first using a 12×12 tile. The return walls were then laid using a 4×16 subway tile. All areas of tile were installed in the same pattern, straight lay. The Kerdi Membrane and wall tile were set wit Premium Plus Mortar where as the bathroom floor tile was set using 253 Gold Laticrete Mortar. The entire bathroom was grouted with a high performance, stain resistant Prism Grout.
